Our head keeper recently made a visit to Laos to the Lao Conservation Trust for Wildlife. She spent two weeks there using her skills as a keeper to help out with the amazing rescued animals at the centre. She even took a donation of materials including camera traps out for the team to use there.
Come and see her time there in pictures and stories including Diesel, an Asiatic black bear, having a wellness inspection and peeing on her! She's helped with a wide range of species from bears to tortoises, gibbons to crocodiles and even used her skills on ZIMS to teach some vet students.
The talk will be on Wednesday the 18th of February 6pm. It will be held at the (River Teign Sea) Scout Hut at the top of The upper Ness car park.
Tickets are £2.50 per person and this will include tea, coffee and nibbles.
